Dr. Bobs Adventure

We've created this blog for several reasons. First is to keep family and friends(including Bobs' pts.)informed of Bobs' condition while he undergoes treatment for Acute Myelogenous Leukemia(AML) at HUP. You may also write to Bob by posting a comment, which I'll print for him to read. Please feel free to pass this blog site on to anyone you think may want to join us.Instructions to blog are listed under day 12, and bobs' address etc are under day 14. Click on April Archives to find both.

Glad to hear you guys are having a nice relaxing weekend at home. It is a bit chaotic here, but the kind of craziness that is comforting. Dad and Joey made it down this afternoon and we have the entire Teklits family here with the Khouri family. Nothing beats having Mom healthy enough to boss me around in the kitchen! I'm thankful that we'll be celebrating Emma's Christening tomorrow and we are all together. We took mom mom with us to toys r us today to find a bike for Christian's birthday. He's such a pickle to take anywhere these days. We took down every bike for him to try and all he wanted to do is push around a lawnmower. Needless to say, we left with no bike, but mom mom did pick out a nice picnic table for Christian and his friends to hang out at.
Hope you guys have some more rest and relaxation on tap for the remainder of the weekend. If you are able to locate a sushi bar, Dr. Bob, you'd better be eating the veggie sushi for now! Wait until those counts get back up to indulge in the other kind. Always have you guys on our minds, glad you're keeping your peckers up. Mo, Emma is going to be wearing that duckie dress by next week at the rate she is growing! I will have to send you pictures.

Good Morning Bob,
Another beautiful day to hang out on the deck!!
Hope you are still feeling good, eating up, and working your way back in to those 36's.
Spent yesterday inside at a Karate tournament....long day! Then we had a bunch of extra kids over for dinner (it was loud).
Keep your pace, it sounds like it's working for you.
Love, Kim
ps Jessie- best wishes for Emma's Christening today! Give your Mom a hug for me.
