Dr. Bobs Adventure

We've created this blog for several reasons. First is to keep family and friends(including Bobs' pts.)informed of Bobs' condition while he undergoes treatment for Acute Myelogenous Leukemia(AML) at HUP. You may also write to Bob by posting a comment, which I'll print for him to read. Please feel free to pass this blog site on to anyone you think may want to join us.Instructions to blog are listed under day 12, and bobs' address etc are under day 14. hup visit

the visit was quite benign. i fit into my own niche. since i am not sick and feel good they are not forced to do anything. ergo they willsupportme with blood and platlet transfusions as needed ; and do a bone marrow in 10 days and then decide into which protocol to put me. the good news is that either protocol does not require hospitilization. i am allowed out so mo and are going to some local retaurants. now if can only can get mo to go to a sushi bar. that's not good ican't have raw food.
tony c.: give my bst to your mom.
talk to you all tomorrow. bob

Also a good place to order spices is:

They have many different kinds of paprika.

Have a good weekend and keep posting.

Dr. Bob and Mo,
glad to hear about the good visit to HUP. About raw food: remember, Homo erectus discovered fire! - still he vanished but most likely not on account of a salmonella infection. We can only guess what he may have looked like although the current Gov. of CA provide some clues...
Glad you selected chicken paprikash; it is a good choice but there is no need to order paprika: Aniko has the real stuff directly from the growers in Kalocsa (HU). Just let us know - it sure beats restaurant food!
Love and respect to you both,
George and Aniko

Sushi? Did I hear someone mention Sushi? Love the stuff!! Have you been to Eastern Dragon there by Costco. They have this New Ware Roll... Soy bean paper wrapped with shrimp tempura, spicy tuna and avocado with a spicy teriyaki sauce. Just had one yesterday. In fact, the girl behind the counter asked me if i worked at Central Montgomery because "they like this one there." Yes we do. Ordering more tomorrow. In your honor. Our prayers continue for you. Miss you. Hey Mo (()) Jax and Connie

Hi Doctor Mazzola,
Have fun going out to restaurants again. My puppy did win two prizes at the prestigious "North Walesminster" dog show. She won 2nd prize for best groomed and we won 2nd prize for dog/master look alike. We wore matching shirts. Have a nice weekend! My thoughts and prayers are still with you. Linda V.
